About Us

Hi, I'm Carl and thanks for visiting Arcade Report. I've been a fan of home video games and arcade games in general since 1979 when I visited my first arcade at age 9 and was immediately hooked. I would scrounge 25 cent coins from my parents to visit the arcade at the local mall. A few years later I had a paper route and used much of the money I made to spend quarters on arcade games like Galaga, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Robotron and all the other popular ones of the day. Then I started getting hooked on home video game systems like Intellivision, Atari, Colecovision and later Nintendo. I love them all.

Are you thinking about putting a home game room or basement arcade together? There are plenty of options and we'll discuss all the things related to video games, pool and billiards, classic games, bar items and more. We'll even discuss some lesser known options like shuffleboard tables and cuckoo clocks. Regardless of your budget and space, you have options!

On this website I'll also discuss my memories of these and other games including the mini handheld games from Coleco and Mattel because I bought many of them, too.

Thanks for stopping by and please visit often for updates!
